Our January 2012 Selection is:
Over the Rhine: The Trumpet Child
I love stylish living, wearable fashion and simple elegance, but mainly I just like to have fun.

Did you already listen to it? I’ve only gotten through the first couple of tracks.
I’m not sure how the discussion is going to work yet. Do you have a Google+ account? We might do a hangout!

Oh, I was just curious how the album club was going to work. I remember you had mentioned a few options at the beginning. I didn’t know if something had been decided on that front.
(I’ll just sit back and be quiet now.)

I remember hearing this song live for the first time. Karen Berquist just nailing the hell out of those notes. I have never seen a band more often than I’ve seen Over the Rhine (8 or 9 times) and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ll be interested to see what you think of the album.
p.s. Berquist has a tattoo that makes me think every time I read it. It says “Comparison is the thief of joy”
p.p.s. I love the track “If a Song could be President”, especially the phrase “underachiever in chief”.

You should join the discussion (once I figure out how we’re going to work it)! I would love to have some input from a fan, especially one who has seen Over the Rhine perform so many times. 🙂

I would love to. I’m curious to see what others think of them.
