I scored some tickets to The White House Fall Garden Tour through the Junior League of Baltimore.

We started out our day in DC with an Obama Burger at Good Stuff Eatery. It was delicious, as was my Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake. Yum!

Afterward, we made a quick stop at The White House Visitor Center…

…before heading over for the tour.

We got really, really close to The White House.

Here we are in front of the Rose Garden.

Sasha and Malia have an awesome playground. My son was dying to try it out, but Secret Service said, “No.”

My mom went with us, but she would kill me if I posted a picture of her on my blog. So I won’t.

[Not a photo of the three of us in front of The White House.]

It was very crowded.

I really thought my son would be excited to go. And he was excited. Before we got there. After we got there? Not so much. [My mom is in this video, but we’re not going to tell her, okay?]

After the tour, we walked around to snap a few pictures of the front of The White House.

It was a good day.
